Before we start talking we must understand what is a good blog . Mu definition of a good blog is simple . A blog with nice plug-ins (widget) , real articles and (some)comments is a successful blog . Some believes a blog with more hits is a good blog . At last everything is same . Without real articles there will be no hit and a blog without hits does not have articles . This is simple .Let's try to pull out some signs of good blogger . At first visit some successful blogs like mashable .And now compare it with your blog . This is a good habit of comparing your blog with successful blogs .




Here are five signs of a good blog . I have sorted them by popularity of blogs .

Links in Posts .

This is about real links . Not include downloading links . I am not habituated to insert any links of my own past article in my blog . It is not a good sign . My CPR(clicks per Rates) rates will be down .

Posting with niche

I have to agree I don't have this . I just write on anything that i like . I published some hacking articles as well as some site building articles . So right now I am publishing on two sides . Hope  this is not happening with you .

Have a good hosting site .

Having a hosting site is sign of that the selected blogger is successful blogger ad he has earned money with his blog and thus he is hosting it .

Blog with two or three ads .

On good logs you may have marked that they don't have too many ads . This will just increase outgoing links and landing page strategy will be broken So you must not put too many ads on your blog . i just don't put ads because I still not have rights .

Have only two columns or magazine style .

Too many columns and too many widgets will simply slow down your blog . When your blog is in competition with another blogs for same kind of data . This is surely a bit risky situation . So be careful just don't insert too many plug-ins like me !.

So yeah signs are now over . if you know some better signs , must comment it .

Let's create some definitions about plug-ins . What kinds of widgets should be there in a blog ? Answer is plug-ins which let you earn more clicks are important . So lets create a small directory of it .

Related Posts/Re-commanded posts / Featured posts or any post related plug-ins gives you more clicks ,this is a nice strategy of not putting archive or labels on blog . Because they contains too many links . They are dangerous for your blog as Search Engines hates them.

Blog community

This widget is missing in my blog . If you have a big amount of people ariund you , you will easily get peoples to your blog . And yeah in debates you will have intense participants . It is really re-commanded , though don't put blog-catalog,technorati,friend-connect widgets at once they will simply slow you down .

Extra-Ordinary Plug-ins .

In this kind of plug-ins we can count sharing widgets and some your site related plug-ins . For example computer geeks site can show users ip on index . And florists site can have photo slide-show of beautiful flowers .

Some time ago I decided to put computer tip slide show on blog . But , I failed . If I would have succeeded in it . it would be easy for me .

Blogrolls.

People don't like blog rolls as we are jealous of our own blog-rolls . Though it is considered as a good sign in search engine ,that you have sportsmanship of showing other peoples links .
