I have encountered an error in myself that I download every idiotic software. This wastes my time a lot . Though I have a lot of time to waste ,but this is getting ridiculous . I want to save my time . So I finally decided to have some guidelines for software . Here I will share it with you .

Read the review

Read the product review at first. Once I downloaded a PDF editor to edit in my pdf files . But ,lately I found that it was for just some other format of podf files . This is ridiculous . I downloaded whole software for none .This may have happened with you . So keep a good habit of watching product revives.

Check Compatibility

This is not big issue right now . But it may happen that the software you have downloaded is 32 bit and your operating system is 64 bit . So software won’t run . That is sure . There are only few software which can run for all processors . Read compatibility for your OS , your devices and also for yourself !

Know the popularity

Try to know the popularity of software . You can ask any expert . Or you can become a expert yourself. Visit Google and search for your software . Read reviews and readers comment on it . This may help us out . What do you think about it ? ( comment it )For example Winamp is a good software fore music fans . But it is losing its popularity against iTunes and Media Center . So you does not have to download winamp .

Size of the software won’t matter some times.

Remember this point well . Many people watch at size of software . They believe (I hope you are not any of this) that their work requires big software . So the size must be big or small . Now let’s see , many useful software have small size . (Some software that requires .NET framework and Sun Java are really micro sized !)

look for open source

Open source software have a big advantage , They are free and you can use them at free of coast and you can edit in it source and customize them for your use . (Note that developers only can do it , I can’t perhaps we may be able to do it someday ! lots of laughers)
