Wordpress vs Blogger

Which software for blogging is successful ? Your answer may be wordpress . But ,it is successful only If we think only about success of blog ! What about blogger himself .I am targeting wordpress for its not being user friendly .Blogger is user friendly and can be as powerful as a wordpress blog if it is managed by responsible person (not like me ! I am an irregular idiot blogger) .

Advantages of blogger

1. User Friendly
   
2. Easy to manage
   
3. Easy to share
   
4. Freeware(mark this,it is freeware)
   
5. Run by google
   
6. Secure
   

So this are the advantages of blogger . On other hand disadvantages are as follow

Disadvantages of blogger

1. Not an open source
   
2. Not movable.(You cannot move your blog to copy it on another url based blogger blog,though transfer between different platforms is possible
   
3. Fewer Widgets
   
4. SEO impossible
   

This are the main disadvantages of blogger ,let us know other disadvantages in your comments. Now...let's talk about" the most successful blogging platform" wordpress.

Advantages of wordpress

1. Complete CMS ( content management system like joomla,drupal)
   
2. Too many widgets (plugins)to choose from
   
3. Full SEO optimization
   
4. Easier commenting option
   
5. Easy to install

Disadvantages of wordpress

1. Host is required
   
2. Some of its versions are insecure
   
3. Complected than blogger
   
4. Not marketed well .

So,blogger is becoming as powerful as wordpress .But it can not be used for too far .It is just for basic. Note:Note that I haven't counted one of the most ridiculous vulnerability of blogger that most of people get away by watching .blogspot.com in url .What do you think !
